Thank you for supporting Die Rookhuis & Plaaskombuis. We take pride in producing traditional farm-style smoked and homemade products. Because many of our items are food products, our refund and return policy is outlined below.
1. Food Products
Due to health and safety regulations, food products cannot be returned once they have been delivered.
However, if your order arrives:
- Damaged
- Spoiled
- Incorrect
Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the product and packaging so we can review the issue.
If approved, we will either:
- Replace the product, or
- Issue a refund.
2. Incorrect Orders
If you receive the wrong item, please notify us within 24 hours. We will arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.
3. Order Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled before they are prepared or shipped.
Once the order has been processed, smoked, packaged, or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.
4. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original payment method used via Paystack. Processing times may take 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
5. Delivery Issues
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or circumstances beyond our control. However, we will do our best to assist in resolving any delivery issues.
